Today, The Lesbian Romantic hit the 2 million downloads milestone!

When I started this podcast in February 2016, I celebrated every single download. And I still do! But I can’t post about it every day. 😉

I get to post an update today, though. It took me 3,3 years to reach my first million downloads. Now, I can celebrate the 2 million milestone, less than 1,5 years later!

I’m especially proud of what I’ve been able to do with the podcast in 2020. TLR has reached a lot of new listeners in 2020 and many of them have enjoyed the stories as a brief escape from a world in turmoil.

TLR still has no advertising in the podcast or on its website. Every single episode and all extras are available freely for everyone. This is another thing I am extremely proud of.

Muriel, my spouse, has been my biggest cheerleader (and critic 😉 ) since I started this podcast. Without Muriel, I wouldn’t be able to work on the podcast so often, and I’d have a lot less cheesy moments to draw inspiration from. Thank you, poezewoefke!

I could also not have reached this milestone without the generous support of hundreds of TLR listeners. There simply are no words to express my gratitude to you, my fellow romantics. I hope I can continue to delight and surprise you in 2021!
