Passion’s Bright Fury by Radclyffe

Passion's Bright Fury RadclyffeWhen I started thinking about my favorite lesbian romance books, I soon thought of Saxon Sinclair. Saxon is one of the main characters of Passion’s Bright Fury by Radclyffe, you see, and certainly one I remembered.

The story
As a secretive, distant and grumpy Chief of Trauma at a busy Manhattan hospital, she is not amused when Jude Castle starts following her around to make a documentary film about the hospital.

A bit like Grey’s Anatomy for lesbians!

Now, I was trained as a journalist myself. So when I read the summary of this book, I was instantly hooked. But if you like medical dramas, this should be up your alley as well. This love story mostly plays out in a busy hospital in Manhattan. It’s a bit like Grey’s Anatomy for lesbians, like so many of Radclyffe’s books.

Vintage Radclyffe
And a classic Radclyffe it is, this book. Following the lesbian fiction formula effortlessly, you’re in for a nice read with lots of flirting and sexual tension. There’s enough depth and excitement in this book to make it more than an amusing love story. And the sex scenes, well…Radclyffe sure knows how to handle those.

Loved it
Just thinking about this book, and listening to the first chapter again while writing this review (I have the audiobook), makes me want to hurry back to the couch and start over. You can’t go wrong with this book if you like lesbian romance. That’s why I also added this book as my number 1 on the Top 5: Best Lesbian Audiobooks list!
